General Electric Refrigerators Recalled For Fall Hazard

(Washington, DC) — General Electric refrigerators are being recalled due to a fall hazard. The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports there are more than 150-thousand of the fridges, including the French Door Refrigerators with bottom freezers, because the freezer handle may detach when opened. There have been 71 reports so far from consumers, with 37 reported injuries and three “serious fall injuries.”
