The Lake Shelbyville U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a kid’s fishing derby June 4th at Opossum Pond, located east of Route 128 on County Road 1600 North. It’s open to young anglers up to age 12. Pre-registration is required by calling 217-774-3951, extension 2, or lakeshelbyville@usace.army.mil.
