Friends of Lake Mattoon and the Lake Mattoon Bass Club will host a Father’s Day fishing derby June 19th. Open to young anglers between the ages of 4 and 15, the derby will take place at the small pond across from the marina. Registration will open at 9:00 a.m. and fishing will be from 9:30-11:00, followed by the awards and raffle drawing.
