Ford Recalls Almost 3M Cars Because They Could Roll Away While Parked

(Dearborn, MI) — Ford is recalling almost three million cars because they may roll away when parked. The recall includes 2013 to 2019 Escapes, 2013-1018 C-Max, 2013-2016 Fusion and 2015 to 2018 Edge cars. A damaged or missing “bushing” may prevent the vehicle from shifting into the intended gear. Ford said it’s received four reports of injured people to due to the issue as well as six reports of property damage.
