Volunteers are needed for the Stars and Stripes 5k, which will be held July 2nd in Mattoon. They need folks to man the intersections while the runners make their way through the city. Please call 217-246-4283 to reserve your spot before race day. The race will start at 7:30 and should be over by 8:30 in time for the 4th of July parade. All volunteers will get a race t-shirt.
