Land of Lincoln Honor Flight Mission #61 takes flight Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
96 will be on board this flight from Abraham Lincoln Capitol Airport to Washington, DC – 1 World War II, 4 Korean War and 91 Vietnam War Era Veterans – all ready to experience their national memorials with their comrades. Heroes from Mattoon, Charleston, Decatur, Effingham, Greenup, Lawrenceville, Pana, Robinson, Shelbyville, Tower Hill will be among those onboard. They’ll return to Springfield that night at 9:30 and you’re encouraged to pack the airport and welcome home the heroes.
