Report: Assistant QB Coach To Call Colts’ Plays
(Indianapolis, IN) — Passing game specialist and assistant quarterbacks coach Parks Frazier will reportedly assume playcalling duties for the Indianapolis Colts under interim head coach Jeff Saturday. The role was previously held by former head coach Frank Reich, who was fired by the team on Monday. ESPN reports the team also considered quarterbacks coach Scott Milanovich, who had been a playcaller in the Canadian Football League, and was the playcaller for the Jacksonville Jaguars during the final five weeks of the 2018 season. Frazier is a former quarterback who played at Murray State, but has never called plays before. The Colts visit the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
