Heritage Woods Donates to SBL Women and Children’s Center

Heritage Woods of Charleston recently donated gift baskets filled with various toys for children who are receiving care in the SBL Women and Children’s Center.

Theresa Walker, Heritage Woods activity director, said the residents love giving back to the community, so they create ways to do so. Walker said the residents play bingo every week, and some of them used their recent winnings to create the gift baskets.

Walker added that the residents chose to donate to benefit children in the SBL Women and Children’s Center because they recognize the excellent care that the center provides.
