As of 8:45 PM, Illinois Route 49 in Edgar County is Re-Open
As of 2:15pm the Illinois State Police were still on the scene of the fatal crash on Illinois Route 49 near County Road 1900 North in Edgar County. The roadway there remains closed for an additional hour or two. Traffic is being re-routed at County Road 1700 North and 1900 North. Please find alternate route to avoid delays.
