Charleston School Board Approves Teacher’s Contract

On Wednesday, the Charleston school board approved a contract with the Charleston Education Association teachers’ union. Teacher salaries will remain at this year’s level for the 2016-17 school year. Also, salaries for coaches, activity advisers and similar positions will stay the same for the three years of the contract.
