The Illinois department of Veterans Affairs and the Illinois Senate Republican Caucasus are teaming up to honor and remember the sacrifice of service men and women who have passed away.
You’re encouraged to submit a photo and written remembrance of those who are no longer with us.
The message will be displayed on the Illinois State Capitol on Memorial Day.
Any deceased veteran can be honored, even if he or she did not die while serving.
