SBL Mobile Mammography Unit Receives Donation from Lakeview

Lakeview College of Nursing, located in Danville and Charleston, has donated $173 to the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation to support the SBL Mobile Mammography unit.

Each year, Lakeview seeks ways to give back to the local community. This October, as part of their initiative for Breast Cancer Awareness, employees were encouraged to donate to the cause.

Additionally, the Danville Student Government Association sold sweatshirts to raise awareness for breast cancer and donated a portion of the profits to supplement the employee contributions.

The SBL Mobile Mammography unit travels to communities in SBL’s 10-county service area to offer accessible mammography testing for residents.
