Officials have confirmed that the driver of the vehicle involved in an accident near Hindsboro Sunday died of injuries at Carle Foundation Hospital. 18-year old Carlito Molina was traveling on Douglas County Road 300 North when he went off the road. It appears he over-corrected, and the vehicle overturned several times, ejecting Molina and his passengers. 15-year old Amberlyn Humes of Oakland died at the scene and another passenger, 16-year old Lexi Hughes remains hospitalized.
