An accident with a Jeep and a utility vehicle has taken the life of a young Casey resident. According to the Illinois State Police, the driver of a Polaris Ranger was eastbound on 950th Road and lost control and overturned into oncoming traffic. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. A Jeep driven by Linda Medsker, also of Casey, struck the Ranger. The 11-year old driver of the Ranger died at the scene.
