Horizon Health Offers Free CPR/AED Class

For Immediate Release – January 19, 2024

(Paris, IL)—Horizon Health will offer a free Heartsaver CPR/AED course on Tuesday, February 6, from 1 to 3 pm, at its Education Center, 15197 US Highway 150, in Paris.

This non-healthcare provider course is for the community only and teaches basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), which is used in cases of life-threatening cardiac events. An official CPR/AED certification card from the American Heart Association is optional for $25.

This course does not include first aid, which can be arranged separately.

To register for the class, visit MyHorizonHealth.org/Classes. Note that a credit or debit card is required when registering. The card will only be charged ($25 fee) if the participant registers for the class but does not actually attend.
