Five Mile House Event This Weekend

Charleston’s Five Mile House will be holding it’s first public event of the season this weekend on Sunday. The event will take place at 1 p.m. with music by Jason Jennings and Friends and demonstrations of open hearth cooking and spinning. There will be a presentation titled “Powder Horns, Old and New: Historic Styles, Contemporary Recreations, a Horner’s Narrative” by Pete Hutton that is set to begin at 2:30 p.m.
