Two brothers from Mattoon have been arrested and charged with aggravated domestic battery. According to the Mattoon Police Department, 33-year old Shane Brant, and 31-year old Matthew Brant are alleged to have engaged in an argument and that Matthew struck his brother in the head with a glass vase, and that Shane cut Matthew’s arm with a knife. Both were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
