Two Mattoon men were arrested following an incident at Old State Village. Mattoon Police say 27-year old William Boswell III and 64-year old Bruce Williams were charged with aggravated battery after allegedly attacking another man. The charges allege that Boswell struck and bit the man, and that Williams used the hilt of a dagger to repeatedly strike the same victim in the head. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Boswell and Williams were taken to the Coles County jail.
