Open House scheduled for Mattoon residents to learn about referendum to adopt new form of city government
Mattoon, IL… Mattoon residents seeking to learn more about the upcoming referendum to adopt a managerial form of city government are invited to attend an Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
The ballot question, which will be asked of all Mattoon residents this general election, Nov. 5, has sparked interest from voters. The Open House is an opportunity for people to stop in, ask questions, and learn how a managerial form of government will advance the City of Mattoon.
When: Wednesday, October 2, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Where: Demars Center in Mattoon, IL (located on the north side of Peterson Park)
