State Senator Rose Wants You to Team Up to Create Valentines for Seniors
His Annual “Valentines for Seniors” Card Drive is Now Underway
SPRINGFIELD, IL- State Senator Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) needs your help in writing heartfelt Valentine’s Day cards so him and his staff can deliver them to seniors across the 51st District on Valentine’s Day.
“Our goal is to bring joy to seniors in nursing homes and assisted living facilities, while reminding them how valued they are,” said Senator Rose.
To help with this goal, Rose is asking students, scout groups, churches, and other groups to consider creating homemade cards that will be delivered to nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, and other long-term care facilities throughout the 51st Senate District.
You can drop off or mail your cards to the Matton Office at 88 Broadway Ave., Suite #1, Mattoon, IL 61938. There will be a drop box outside the office door.
Cards can also be mailed to Rose’s Capitol office, 401 S. Spring St., Section A, Office B, Springfield, Il. 61938.
