Mattoon goes to Taylorville, Effingham hosts Mahomet-Seymour, T-town vs Bloomington Central Catholic, and Casey-Westfield plays Mount Carmel
Good luck to our area 8th grade boys’ basketball teams at the state tournaments tomorrow. In Class 1A, undefeated St. John’s of Mattoon will be at Warrensburg-Latham High School to battle fellow unbeaten St. John of Chicago at 10:00 a.m. In Class 2A, another team with a perfect record, 26-0 Stew-Stras will open with East St. Louis Younge at 11:30. That game will be played at Bishop McNamara in Kankakee.
