Country singer Mo Pitney will be stopping by WMCI for a visit Monday (4/27) at 4:15PM!
Mo, who grew up in Cherry Valley, near Rockford, Illinois, has a new single with former runner-up on The Voice, Jake Worthington called “Stop and Smell the Country.” He’ll be singing it live in the studio with Greyson only on 101.3 WMCI!
Curb Records recording artist Mo Pitney received a standing ovation the very first time he performed on the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage. Named an “Artist To Watch” by Rolling Stone, Billboard and The Bobby Bones Show, Pitney has amassed over 40 million streams since the release of his autobiographical debut, Behind This Guitar. The Illinois-native leans on the influences of traditional country stalwarts like Ray Price, Buck Owens, Roger Miller and Merle Haggard. His original song, “Ain’t Bad for a Good Ol’ Boy,” was featured on The Ranch (A Netflix Original Series Official Soundtrack). Next up for Pitney, “Wake Up And Smell The Country (with Jake Worthington),” releases on March 27, 2026.
