National Federation of Independent Businesses endorses Adam Niemerg for State Representative
Dieterich, IL – The state political action committee for National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, has endorsed Adam Niemerg in his race for State Representative in the 102nd District. The political action committee is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.
“Adam Niemerg is a consistent champion of small businesses,” said NFIB Illinois State Director Noah Finley. “He understands the challenges that Main Street businesses face and stands up to Springfield special interests that push for more taxes and regulatory red tape.”
Adam Niemerg is a Teutopolis native and resides in rural Dieterich (Bishop Township) with his wife, Trina, and two children. Adam supports small businesses in Illinois. His parents, Phil & Stephanie, started their own small business in the garage of their home in Teutopolis. Growing up, he experienced first-hand the struggles that many small business owners face while turning their dreams into reality all while raising a family.
“I understand the challenges of owning and running a business firsthand because I grew up in it,” Niemerg said. “The policies emerging from Springfield and Washington have real world consequences. It is small business owners who must bear the brunt of these policy decisions. Business owners need a strong advocate in Springfield now more than ever, and I am committed to being that advocate. I am honored to accept the NFIB’s endorsement.”
The NFIB Illinois PAC endorsement is critical to candidates’ campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB Illinois PAC’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small business issues.
