Two men were killed in an accident in Jasper County last night. According to the Illinois State Police, a truck driven by 26-year-old Cody Drake was southbound on County Road 400E when it ran off the roadway and over corrected. The pickup slid sideways down the road and went off the roadway again, overturning once. Drake and one of his passengers, 25-year-old Blake Fehrenbacher of Ingraham were ejected from the vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene. Three other passengers were transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital and treated for minor injuries. One passenger was taken to Carle Hospital for more serious injuries. Dalton Courson of Kinmundy and Kaylee Sefton of Brownstown were charged for failure to wear a seatbelt and illegal consumption. Victoria Streif of Louisville, and Kendra Courson of Ingraham were charged with failure to wear a seatbelt.
