Former Charleston Daycare Operator Found Not Guilty

A verdict has been reached regarding former Charleston daycare operator Patricia Brant.  Patricia was found not guilty for charges which accused her of injuring 22-month-old Pierson Eaker back in February of 2014. She was arrested for allegedly shaking a baby.  After 11 hours of deliberations by the jury, Brant was found not guilty. Many experts testified that Pierson’s injuries could not have been caused by a fall from a playpen, however jurors found reasonable doubt.
