If you want-in on Illinois’ big birthday in 2018, this is your week. The state is holding a number of planning meetings this week to continue planning for Illinois’ bicentennial. A commission is already looking to plan events and book speakers. Governor Rauner last week named a new director to head the bicentennial celebration.
