Illinoisans are being allowed to register to vote on Election Day this year. Attorney General Lisa Madigan said on Friday that court filings and arguments aren’t over on the issue, but won’t be settled until after the election. The election is November 8th. State officials say you may have to go to your local election office to register and vote on Election Day if you live in a smaller community and the option isn’t available at your normal polling place.
