According to a recent press release from Illinois State Police, Richard A.P. Gharrett, 32, of Clinton, Illinois has been arrested and charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, a class 2 felony. The arrest occurred Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Clinton as a result of a Task Force 6 (TF6) investiagion.
Gharrett is currently being held in the De Witt County Jail pending a bond hearing. If convicted, he could face a range from probation to up to 7 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. No other information is being released at this time.
