The Mattoon Pizza Hut location has been closed due to lack of profitability. According to officials, major facility improvements were needed at the location and it’s income didn’t justify the improvements. Most of the staff members from the closed Mattoon location have been transferred to the Pizza Hut locations in Charleston and Effingham.
