Charleston Public Works crews will be adding some features to the Lake Charleston area park. They will be including a pavilion and additional parking near the Embarras River spillway. The road leading up to the spillway will be closed off periodically over the next few weeks and entirely by mid-April, depending on the weather. The entire project is expected to be done in the summer, or possibly by the end of May.
