Two people were injured in a single vehicle crash yesterday in Jasper County. Illinois State Police say 73-year-old Sandra Wyatt, of Oblong, was eastbound on Route 33 when her vehicle crossed over the westbound lane and into the ditch, struck concrete and became airborne before coming to rest in a ditch. Wyatt indicated she may have fallen asleep at the wheel. She was charged with improper lane usage and failure to wear a seat belt.
