SBL AdvantAge 50 Kickoff Party Set
The seventh annual SBL AdvantAge 50 “Kickoff Party” is set for 2 p.m. on Friday, February 19, in the Lumpkin Center for Health Education on the north side of Sarah Bush Lincoln.
Troy Orwig, family owner of Good News Travels and tour coordinator Karen Noble will provide details for each Advantage 50 trip planned for this year and answer any questions participants may have.
AdvantAge 50 trips planned include: the International Quilt Festival in Rosemont on March 28; a mystery trip on April 17; Mines, museums and Good Food on May 21; Explore Hannibal Missouri, an overnight trip on June 18 and 19; “Buddy, the Buddy Holly Story” at Beef and Boards, Indianapolis on July 10; North Chicago Architectural trip on August 16; Spirit of Peoria all-day riverboat cruise on September 24; The Best of Chicago on October 4; Explore Nashville, Tennessee, an overnight trip on October 31 and November 1; and a Christmas shopping trip on December 5. Advantage will also be hosting computer training classes for Pinterest, Facebook and the SBL Patient Portal. Meet Troy and Karen and enjoy some light refreshments.
