One person was killed after a Terre Haute crash this weekend.
Terre Haute Police tell WTHI-TV the accident happened at 15th and Walnut Streets around 10:30 p.m., Friday night.
Police say an adult man was giving medical aid to a woman partially trapped in one of the vehicles involved.
They also say the man admitted to being the driver of that car and that he had been drinking. That car had rolled over in the crash.
Police say the passenger of that car, Tina Fowler, 31, of Terre Haute, later died as a result of her injuries.
The driver of the other car suffered only minor injuries.
The driver faces a preliminary charge of causing death when operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and will be taken to jail when he is released from the hospital.
