(Los Angeles, CA) — The force is definitely with the “Star Wars” film franchise. “Solo: A Star Wars Story” is this week’s top movie in North America, earning just over 83-million-dollars in its first week in theaters. Last week’s Number One film “Deadpool 2” came in second with nearly 43-million bucks. “Avengers: Infinity War” was in third place with 16-million. The superhero picture has grossed over 621-million-dollars in the U.S. and Canada since its release four weeks ago. Rounding out this week’s Top Five are the romantic comedy “Book Club” starring Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton and Candice Bergen, and the Melissa McCarthy comedy “Life of the Party.”
