Elvert Barnes / CC Friday, the Paris Tigers faced Lawrenceville resulting in and unfortunate home game loss with Paris losing to Lawrenceville 28 to 22. Both teams in the opening quarter of the game managed to keep each other from scoring resulting in a 0 to 0 score going into the second quarter. However, this would be short lived as Paris successfully managed to score on Lawrenceville within the first minute of the second quarter, including also a successful field goal attempt resulting with Paris leading 7 to 0. Lawrenceville, then came back by the end of the second quarter with a successful touchdown and two point conversion giving Lawrenceville the lead going into the second quarter 8 to 7 over Paris. The rest of the game proved to be a consistent back and forth battle between both teams. However, Paris by the end of the game was unsuccessful in regaining control and coming out ahead of Lawrenceville resulting in Lawrenceville defeating Paris 28 to 22.
