From WCIA, four tornadoes touched down in the Central Illinois area Friday night and were seen by thousands. The area is clear now, but they caused damage to homes, crops, power lines, and caused cancellations of some football games.
The path of one tornado was followed with pictures and videos from many sources. This particular tornado was believed to be on the ground for over 8 miles before lifting southeast of Homer. The damage indicates it could have been a strong EF-1 or a weak EF-2, but the National Weather Service will be surveying everything today.
