This weekend travel back in time and discover the methods of farming used during the 19th Century! It’s the annual Fall Frolic with Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site in Charleston Illinois! The two day event spans Saturday and Sunday, September 24th and 25th.
A variety of entertainment awaits for all age groups including period music, a Punch-and-Judy puppet show, a 5K run, one-mile walk, open-hearth cooking, doll-making, a scavenger hunt, pie-eating contest, plus multiple demonstrations. One of which includes showing how oxen were used on an 1850’s farm.
