From NBC Sports, just hours after the LSU Tigers lost to Auburn, LSU fired head coach Les Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron. Miles has been in Baton Rouge since 2005 and has a 114-34 record at the school. He’s also won a national title in 2007 and a two SEC championships. He was nearly let go last year, but huge fan support helped him to keep his position.
The defensive line coach, Ed Orgeron, will fill the role of head coach for the rest of the season. The new offensive coordinator will be former LSU quarterback Steve Ensminger, who is currently the tight ends coach.
