Two teenagers have died from a four wheeler accident in Effingham County Saturday night.
The Illinois State Police say the individuals were riding a four wheeler on Effingham County Road 1115, south of County Road 1000 North when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a ditch, and flipped over.
Both the driver, Kodie Hollinshead (19) of Teutopolis, and Rachel Dettling (19) of Mattoon were flipped off of the four wheeler.
The two were pronounced dead on scene.
The crash remains under investigation by ISP and the Effingham Co Coroner’s Office.
