If you’re a parent/caregiver/grandparent who wants to reduce the risk factors associated with teenage drug use, then you should know that the Central East Alcoholism and Drug Council is offering a free research-based substance abuse prevention program called “Guiding Good Choices.” This is a five week series that will be offered in Mattoon on Jan. 16, 23, 30, Feb. 6, & 13, at CEAD Council’s Adolescent Outpatient Office 5:30-7:30 p.m. The class will also be offered in Charleston on Jan. 25, Feb. 1, 8, 15 & 22 at 720 4th St. from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Light refreshments provided.
