WTHI-TV reports Vigo County judge denied a bond reduction request for Chad Kraemer; his bond remains at $250,000.
Chad Kraemer is one of four people facing several charges in connection to the death of 9-year-old Cameron Hoopingarner.
Earlier this week, new charges were filed against Chad Kraemer, along with Hubert Kraemer, Robin Kraemer and Sarah Travioli in connection to the case.
The charges include neglect of a dependent (Level 6 Felony), along with maintaining and visiting a common nuisance (Level 6 Felony and Class A Misdemeanor).
Police say the boy weighed only 15 pounds at the time of his death at Union Hospital. They also said he had methamphetamine in his system.
The four were arrested in February, after the boy’s death. The trial is set for July.
