(Washington, DC) — The Transportation Safety Administration is warning about the dangers of terrorists using trucks to plow through crowds. The TSA report urged truck rental companies and truck owners to report thefts and suspicious activities, including “unusual and unexplained modifications” like putting metal plates on the front of trucks. The TSA says gatherings with a lot of people like parades, sporting events or entertainment venues are most at risk for what it labeled “ramming attacks.” It also notes the rise in such attacks, which have killed at least 173 people across the globe. Among those was the attack in Nice, France last July when 87 people were killed.
