A Newton man faces multiple charges following an accident early this morning. According to the Illinois State Police, 27-year-old Brandon Frichtl was eastbound on Jasper County Road 1200 North when he ran off the roadway, went through the ditch, hit a culvert, and then overturned multiple times. Frichtl was partially ejected from the vehicle. He was transported via Air Evac to Carle Foundation Hospital for treatment of his injuries. He was charged with DUI, driving while license revoked, improper lane usage, failure to wear a seatbelt, and illegal transportation of alcohol.
