(Washington, DC) — The Cubs are off to hot start in the postseason. Kyle Hendricks and two relievers combined on a two-hit shutout as the Cubs blanked the Nationals, 3-0, in Game One of their National League Division series in Washington, DC. Hendricks struck out six over seven innings, and Carl Edwards Junior and Wade Davis each tossed perfect innings of relief. Anthony Rizzo singled and doubled in runs for the Cubs, and Kris Bryant added an RBI-single. Stephen Strasburg struck out 10 over seven innings of one-run ball to take the tough loss for the Nationals. Game Two is Saturday afternoon in DC.
