(Undated) — Amazon is planning to open pop-up outlets in Whole Foods stores just in time for the holidays. The grocery chain says the Amazon-staffed centers will launch next week at stores in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois and Michigan. The idea is to give shoppers a chance to try Amazon devices and learn about Amazon Prime memberships before buying them. The internet giant is gearing up for the holiday season after wrapping up its acquisition of Whole Foods in August.
