(Chicago, IL) — The Chicago Cubs are being sued. Twenty-year-old David Cerda said recent renovations at Wrigley Field violate the Americans with Disabilities Act. Cerda has muscular dystrophy and uses a wheelchair to get around. He claims the ballpark took out wheelchair-accessible seating in the right field bleachers as the team was renovating the stadium. Wheelchair accessible seats behind home plate were also pushed back several rows, which the lawsuit says makes it impossible to see the field when fans in front of the area are standing. A spokesman with the team hasn’t commented on the pending litigation, which was recently filed in federal court.
