(Washington, DC) — The Trump administration is removing Chad from the President’s travel ban. The White House announced that Chad has raised its travel security standards, so people from there will once again be able to apply for visas to enter the U.S. Chad was one of eight countries whose people were prohibited from entering the U.S. The White House claims the travel ban helps prevent terrorists and criminals from getting into the country. The countries still on the travel ban list are Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela and North Korea.
