(Lilburn, GA) — A Georgia doctor who was seen dancing while performing a surgical procedure is being suspended by the medical board. Dr. Windell Davis-Boutte was suspended Thursday after the medical board ruled that her continued practice “poses a threat to the public health, safety and welfare.” Davis-Boutte is a dermatologist and the director of Boutte Contour Surgery & Skin. In a video posted online, she was seen dancing to the hip hop song “Cut It” as she moves her fingers to the beat and makes incisions on her patient rhythmically. That patient along with nine others have sued Davis-Boutte for disfiguration and in one case, even brain damage.
