(San Diego, CA) — The government says it may need more time to reunite some of the immigrant families it separated. A federal court order gives the administration until Tuesday to reunite children under age five with their parents. Justice Department attorney Sarah Fabian said in a San Diego court Friday that they might need more time to track down dozens of immigrant parents who are no longer in their custody, including 19 who were already deported. The government has until 5pm Saturday to provide the court with a list of the estimated 100 children.
