(Chicago, IL) — A new study from the Alzheimer’s Association says those with lower blood pressure are less likely to develop memory loss or dementia. Researchers say aggressively lowering your blood pressure reduces your risk of either cognitive impairment or dementia by 15 percent. Current statistics show one in six women and one in ten men over the age of 55 are expected to develop dementia in their lifetime.
